Practice Policies
Effective date: September 29, 2025
These policies summarize the practice policies you’ll also review and sign in our intake forms before your child’s first visit. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Appointment cancellation & no-shows
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for your child. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A late cancellation (less than 48 hours’ notice) or a no-show (missing an appointment without notice) incurs a $30 fee, which is not covered by insurance and is charged to the card on file. Exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.
Payment
Payment is due in full at the end of each session. Families are responsible for any outstanding balances, including co-pays, deductibles, and any portion of fees not covered by insurance. A card on file may be charged for outstanding balances. Unpaid balances may result in a pause in services until they are resolved.
Insurance changes
Please notify us of any change in insurance coverage — a new plan, adding or removing insurance, or any change in eligibility. Letting us know promptly helps us verify benefits and avoid unexpected charges; failure to notify us may result in financial responsibility for affected sessions.
Teletherapy
Teletherapy is provided through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and is available to families within Florida. Your information remains confidential, and you may withdraw consent for teletherapy at any time.
Photos & media
We use photos or video for educational or promotional purposes only with your written consent, which you may give or decline on our intake forms.
Privacy
For how your health information is handled, please see our Notice of Privacy Practices and our Privacy Policy. No protected health information is collected through this website — all clinical and insurance information is handled securely in our patient portal.
